Their idea for solution is Hillary Clinton (or Barack Obama).
If this is not the best reason to vote Republican again I don't know what is! :)

We Liberals are NOT whiners.
We are a progressive party of cutting edge ideas and ambition. However, that tricky President Bush has kept us attack free for the past six years ON PURPOSE just to keep us from trying our own defense plan, which we're pretty sure will work just fine.
We really wanted to usurp the issue of education reform, but that sneaky, devious Bush beat us to it. Now he has the nerve to demand that teachers teach so that students actually learn. The Teacher's Union hates that. They liked our idea much better: we were going to throw many billions of dollars at the problem and then just wait to reap the rewards increased spending always brings.
There are a lot of things we Liberals want to do, but sometimes it's just so hard! And you know, when we come up with an idea, the Republicans ridicule us. It's easy for them because they're all so clever with words. We wish we had Bill O'Reilly on our side, and we'd gladly give the Conservatives Al Franken in return. Well, we Liberals don't need to be glib to win over the hearts and minds of the American population. We have good feelings and good intentions on our side, and everyone will soon see through the phony, selfish facade of the Republicans who have been purposely doing a good job just to make us look bad.
When all else fails, we still have global warming on our side.

Well apparently the Republicans think it's a good policy. Did you see Tancredo body slam Bush in the last debate? It seems that most of the righty candidates are trying to distance themselves from the bushies.
As far as the dems are concerned, well in my opinion they failed in their first major obstacle by caving in on their promise of ending this war as soon as possible with the last vote on funding the war.
Now on apersonal note, I do think that anyone who makes blanket statements about either party is not doing a service to the country. The thing is to keep doing the great things we have been doing, and correct any mistakes we have made along the way. In the end we need both conservative thinking and liberal thinking, depending on what is going on at that particular time.

Truthfully, They've been upset with the President for so long, I don't think thy can do anything else, at least in the short term. My proof...take a look at the last Democratic debate. They had no real answer for Iraq except "get out". Never mind the fact that if that were to happen it would make Darfur look like a Hillary Duff movie. It would be slaughter on a scale not scene since the Natzi death camps in WWII. And they know it.
I do believe most hard core Democrats love our country. They just hate the President more. That's why they cannot be trusted with it's defense.

They are democrats, that's what they do. They b*tch and complain and then when it's time to step up and do something, nothing happens. Democrats pray on the weak minds of this country to make them think that they are on the same side. The democrats can't keep their heads straight on small issues how can they run a country?

The idea he has been too deaf to hear all that time is "End the war and bring the troops home". His publicity guy told him to tell the lie that "retreat isn't a plan". And he's sticking to it, because cons like you are gullible enough to buy into it.
