I'm doing a project for school and I cant find the answer...the scientific name is "Phocarctos hookeri"...thanx

Not much is known about the vital parameters of this species. Males become mature at the age of 6. The age at maturity for females is unknown. Gestation lasts 12 months. Pregnancy rates, mortality and longevity are unknown.

they mature at 4-6 years of age (females) and have one pup a year or so (1-2 years). from what i have heard pup mortality is usually around 2% but is highly variable with some years reaching 50% (this was a mass mortality event and there is some major research trying to figure out why)
