Unfortunately, when you come to the internet to ask for advise you cannot pick and choose who to ask for help from. Being a public forum people are going to say whatever they want.

If you believe any response you get violates Yahoo Answers guidelines then report that person. When I read some of the answers posted and find them objectionable I report them.

No offense, disability or not, there is no excuse for spelling mistakes as this site has a built in spell checker. As far as grammar, write your question in Word and have it check for mistakes and then cut and paste it into Yahoo Answers. Just a suggestion.

Please don't take this as an attack on you because you have a disability, because I have several disabilities so I can relate to you. Like I use to say to someone I knew who had ADD - Stop using your diagnosis as an excuse and start taking responsibility. Find ways to cope with it.

I would ignore people who are here pointing flaws so silly. I mean, this isn't the SAT's and some of us college students, do not have perfect spelling. I for example, write very fast, and I sometimes don't see my mistakes, but I do try to catch them all before I hit send.

If someone has the time to complain about your spelling rather than reading your question, they should be given a thumbs down. I know there is spell check here, but sometimes it doesn't catch everything.

Just listen to those who are giving you the answers you need, not the put downs.

I agree that there are certain users here who have no other roles than being useless jokers. It's not like people can help being foreigners.

You know what's funny? The only excuse that those people who pick on you for grammar and lack of proper spelling is that you should have at least used correct grammar if you respected them. But if they respected you, they should have activated their human sense of respect and not mentioned your lack of linguistic skills. It's not like something as insignificant as grammar could stop them from answering a damn question when the asker really needs help and when there are far more important matters that need attention. But it's only engraved in our human nature to use irony at the worst moments.

However Polls & Surveys is a category directed more towards entertainment and casual discussions, so if you need real advice from professionals, there are categories that are dedicated especially to these matters.

Grammar can be excusable, but there is a spell check when writing a question or answer.

don't let the mean posts get you down.
I've had many and decided it's best to move on when they attack.
