You won't be able to tell until you have missed your period...the hormone levels won't show up that early...so you will have to wait it out a little while...If you ask the doctors you saw, I'm sure they can tell you when they would want to see you to give you a pregnancy test....but theres no way they can tell right now...

First of all, I'm sorry this happened to you. And then I want to know if they gave you emergency contraception? Most hospitals will. If they did not, get yourself to the drugstore and get a Morning After pill ASAP! You have 72 hours from the sex act to take this and it will prevent 89% of pregnancies in that time frame. You can still stop yourself from becoming pregnant! I'm sure they did not give you a pregnancy test last night because it takes about 2 weeks for it to show up on a test, and often you are not even pregnant until 24-72 hours later...that's why that's the time frame for the morning after pill! Go get that pill! I cannot stress that enough! It will prevent you from having to make a heartbreaking and difficult decision. And no, you would not have pregnancy symptoms the day after sex even if you had gotten pregnant. Like a pregnancy test, that usually takes about 2 weeks because that's when the hormones have built up. My thoughts are with you. Good luck.

I am so sorry for you. The instructions on the last pregnancy test I took said that reliable results can be obtained as early as 7-10 days after you miss your period. Some pregnancy tests may be able to tell sooner because they can detect lower levels of HcG (the hormone that pregnancy tests are looking for.) But still, it's only AFTER you miss your period. I believe a doctor can draw your blood and test that way and get a result sooner, but I don't know how soon. I would go see an OB/GYN as soon as possible if I were you.
I am so sorry that happened to you, and I will be praying for you.

I am SO glad you got medical attention right away, and I hope the rapist gets what he deserves! You're right- the reason they didn't give you a pregnancy test is because it's too soon to tell. Did they give you a Plan B pill? That would cut your chances of pregnancy considerably.
Try not to worry yourself- that's the last thing you need! Odds are you aren't pregnant. If you miss a period, go back to the same hospital for a test.

You could get the morning after pill and this would reduce the risk of pregnancy by a good amount. You cannot test until you've missed your next period or you will likely get negative no matter what. You might be feeling bad because of what happened to you. You went through a very traumatic experience and you may be feeling depressed or anxious or a ton of things that come with a traumatic experience.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. It takes about 2 weeks after conception to test positive, give or take a couple days. Also, you should know that your fertility increases around ovulation. This should be about 12-14 days after the first day of your last period. That way you can kind of know what the odds are that you could have gotten pregnant when it happened.

8 days after conception is when I tested (+) via blood test normally they don't test that early I went for fertility treatment so they did with me. But considering your situation you should be able to get a blood test. But I think being 14 your Doc. will need your parents consent under the law they can't medically treat you with out parental consent!

1st off yet one of those digital pregnancy test! It helps. 2nd off you get pregnant a few days before you period. When a egg releases for you ovary it goes through the Fallopian tubes and if you have sperm visit it which is caused by sex you have a fertilized egg. It continued to go through the Fallopian tubes and if you don't have your period when you supposed to you are pregnant. Your Welcome. PS i hope your not pregnant. I will pray for you!
