Juventus was caught on tape buying referees to win games, and some other teams were into this problem too.
I dont know why people hate italians so much, I am an italian myself, but I think people usually hate the team because of their style. They are not like brazil who wants to give a show and while at the same time win the game, italians just want to win the game and thats it. They only care to score 1 gol and then theyll usually play a defensive style the rest of the game.
Other than that I dont know why would they hate italian players. We won the World cup, The champions league, Cannavaro won the award of best player in the world.
Some of the best players are :
Buffon, nesta, Cannavaro, Pirlo, Totti, Gattuso, just to name a few.
Italy is ranked number 1 on the FIFA list for national teams.
Maybe people hate the team because italy is much better than most of the teams in the world.!!!

these are why some people are jealus:

World Cup wins: four times
. The most Best players in the all star squad are from Italy
.The current best player in the world is Fabio Cannavaro
.AC Milan just won the Champions League for the seventh time
. They have the best defence in the world
. They produce the best goalies.
. They have the best record for Champions League wins (all teams in a league)
. Their ranked #1 on Fifa Rankings
. They the first European team to win the World Cup in the two centuries.

when italy looses they say they shouldnt be playing defence cause offence is more important when they win haters say the are cheater!~~ whitch is untrue

the scandel was that some teams were buying the refs so that the team would win including juve, milan, lazio, regina but the players didnt know and other countries do it too ( not roma though go roma lol)

they have some good players like del piero, cannavaro and totti and many more

forza azzuri means - go blue team go , cheering for italy

they are the 4 time champions and i am proud when they tie, win, or loose i love them with my heart

they are really great but some people trash talk them because they are jealus so dont listen to those haters they are crazie! forza azzuri !!

People hate them because their jelous. Just look at the facts who wouldn't be.

1.World Cup wins: four times
2. The most Best players in the all star squad are from Italy
3.The current best player in the world is Fabio Cannavaro
4.AC Milan just won the Champions League for the seventh time in their history and that's more than Liverpool, Chelsea and Man U combined.
5. They have the best defence in the world
6. They produce the best goalies.
7. They have the best record for Champions League wins (all teams in a league)
8. Their ranked #1 on Fifa Rankings
9. They the first European team to win the World Cup in the two centuries.

I love Italy and AC Milan and if there is person who wants to do something about it than might as well forget it, I have been right about Italy winning the world cup and AC Milan as well. So facts prove that ITALIA is the best.

AC Milan is the best club in Italy and they have been the best in the world for the last 15 years. Chelsea and Liverpool are clubs in England who are no where near good as AC Milan.

AC Milan did not deserve to win the Champions Leagu final. In fact they should not have been there at all.

In the second round, Paolo Maldini had a clear handball in the penalty area from Jarosik's cross overlooked. No penalty given. This was before Kaka scored the winning goal.

In the quarter-finals, Bayern were missing Kahn in the first leg for no fault of his own. He was selected for random drugs test. Unfortunately, he was made to wait for over 2 hours, until 1 am at night before his sample was taken. Then an official came to him and said he will have to give another sample as the first one fell into the wrong hands or something. After a long game, dehydration sets in and it is hard to muster a single urine sample, let alone two. By this time it was 1.30 am and Kahn was tired, so he protested the drug officials mismanagement and was given a one-match ban for his troubles. Unfair, if you ask me. Although Rensing is a good replacement, Bayern missed Kahn in the first leg, giving Milan an advantage.

Some would say Milan should not have been in the UCL at all, their points deduction was reduced twice on appeal before they got in the qualifying round, and they have a point.

Italian teams, both club and country, keep on getting away with an obvoius lack of innocence. This enrages people who cannot overlook the fact that match-fixers win the World Cup and Champions League, while people kept waiting until early morning for a drugs-test get banned for arguing. The world is an unfair, but it certainly helps to be Italian. This is why many don't like Italy.

Forza Italia Forza Milan the best in Europe

I think Jose is right. I have been their fan for 16 years, and I felt sorrow every time they stumbled in a championship before World Cup 2006. Every time they lost, people blamed them on their defensive approach of play. When they lost in penalty shootout or extra time, people said they are too defensive or, at least, unlucky. But when they won people said they are cheating bastards.

I don't know, perhaps people don't like defensive team like Italy. They prefer extravagant team like Brazil or Holland, but not everyone can play thay way. Italians have their own characteristics and history.

Regarding scandals, there is no country in this world is free from scandals. Even Brazil and Germany also have their own problems. But people overemphasis this.

Italy have some of best players, since decades ago until now. I can only mention a few: Dino Zoff (legendary goalkeeper in 1982 World Cup), Paolo Rossi (hero in 1982), Roberto Baggio, Christian Vieri, Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi, Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Alessandro Nesta, Francesco Totti, Alessandro del Piero, Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Gianluca Zambrotta, etc.

Italy have a long history in world football. They traditionally have strong defence & rely on devastating counter attack. They have produced many great defenders and great forwards. They have great tacticians. They are one of the most resilient team. They produce the best when they are under pressure. They are one of the most successful team in World Cup, only second after Brazil. They are the only team can win World Cup back-to-back (1934 & 1938). They are stumbling block for great teams like Germany. Are you aware that many Argentina players are of Italian descent?

Great! We are all in agreement!! Forza Italia!

Unfortunately, people will criticize:
a) what they don't understand, due to ignorance
b) what they can't compare to, or beat, due to jealousy
