There's an M.A. candidate in my classes who's going after the same thing. She double majored in Communication (With a Journalism focus) and Fashion Design. Communication is the big one you need--if you have minimal experience with the subject matter, the editing skills will make you more valuable to employers. Plus, in the Comm major, there are a lot of projects that will allow you to choose fashion design as your topic, and you can get experience with the subject matter that way.

Major - English - first off you must be a top notch writer to be an editor.

Minor - fashion merchandising

community and community as much as you may. incredibly as you commence interning on the magazines. regrettably turning out to be an editor takes some years of adventure and turning out to be nicely versed in all components of the magazine...everywhere from editorial to economic components.
