I guess that is a question that most people do not even have to ask. But since you did there must be a part of you that wants her to go for some reason. A honeymoon is supposed to be for the bride and groom only to spend a little time alone, get romantic, etc. after a big hectic how ever long wedding planning and wedding. You should spend the honeymoon doing just that. But to be honest, it is up to you and your spouse completely. I personally didn't bring my mother in law but I guess you could say my honeymoon consisted of me, my husband, out two children and an aunt. We couldn't afford 2 different trips so we did a combination honeymoon/vacation. No it wasn't very romantic but it was fun.
When it comes down to it, do what you want not what others think.

NO way! What for??!? You all will have plenty of time to spend together. I'm sorry but I have never heard of such a thing. By tradition, isn't the honeymoon supposed to be romantic getaway for the newlyweds to enjoy ALONE? I suggest you stick to tradition(unless bringing mom-in-law is in your religion or something). I'm sure you'll enjoy your honeymoon muuch much more without her, even if you two get along.

NO! If she's been great to you as you become part of the family, take her out to dinner with your wife when you get home, or have flowers delivered the day after the wedding. But the most important thing you can do on your honeymoon is to be a terrific new husband to your new wife!

HELL....NO it's your honeymoon. Why would you even go there? Don't be just curious! What are you thinking?????
Do you need your mother-in-law there to show you what to do? Is she going to hold the video camrea for you to make those hot sex tapes.

The way to get 54 answers to a question is to ask a silly one! Look at how APG's serious question about economics attracted only 3.
This isn't really an answer.
Micquie, I just wanted you (and APG too if you think it appropriate) to see that I added an important comment (or 2 or 3 or ....) to your previous question (for which you gave me a best answer).

It depends. If you have a close relationship with her and she would enjoy going wherever you are going to and your fiance doesn't mind I think it's nice. Providing she gives you two the space you need to make it special for you.
It also depends on the reason for her wanting to go. Is she alone, poor, never been outside her backyard? Or is she nosy?
Bottom line, if you or your fiance don't mind then that's all that matters. Best wishes!
