if you are over 5ft tall expect severe neck cramp when you reach your destination. check all the fluids, especially the oil, make sure its not got white goo in it as all rover k series engines are prone to head gasket problems, go easy with the brakes its got small wheels so tyre wear is a major problem. if its a 114gsi then watch out for the accleration it goes like a rocket. radio is a bit naff, get urself down to halfords and stick a cd player in it and have a safe journey

Not the most comfortable, but capable and quite economical.
I used to drive occasionally from Northern Ireland to west London, and regularly from west London to the Midlands in my old Rover Metro 1.1L (which was facelifted to create the Rover 100).

Plan lots of stops on the way. Take some good music and have a great time....
OH check the oil, water, tyre pressure and your spare before you take off..

noisy uncomfortable may overheat excess tyre wear, smoky exhaust, trust me hire a car. my 100 was why i joined the aa.
