Circuit City (I know, I can't believe it myself) is offering what appears to be a fairly good deal.

Moreover, they also have a system in-store with a 4800+ X2, 2GB RAM and 320gb hard drive for $720.

I'm not seeing a lot of online sources beat these prices (maybe I'm missing something), but I'm used to Circuit City/Best Buy etc being WAY overpriced- What's going on here- is it possible Circuit City is actually offering a deal?

It's a deal but what is the shipping? I saw one almost like it at Wal-Mart for $400 all you have to do is add more memory. Buying it local you can take it back if something is wrong or you have to pay shipping if something is wrong with the above unit.

for my area that's relatively an excellent deal. It has an excellent volume of DDR3 RAM, it says that is expandable to 8GB, that appears like a low cap to positioned on a working laptop or laptop, a great form of motherboards those days help as much as 25GB so which you will possibly would desire to learn out the motherboard specs and notice if it is going to assist extra suitable than that, counting on what you do with it you won't like it yet 8GB ability will final you a minimum of many years. 3.0GHz twin middle Intel, has an HDMI port that's superb, extensive hard force which will final you consistently till you're storing a great form of action pictures, even nonetheless it is going to hold a great form of documents. All in all a competent deal for my area, it comes with a 20 inch flat panel and all different upload-ons. the sole difficulty is i individually do in comparison to Gateway, i've got not dealt with Gateway desktops in a protracted time so issues would have replaced. additionally, make certain you are not getting suckered into all of those costly application upload ins, there are a great form of useful loose possibilities that artwork basically besides if not extra perfect. incredibly do not pay $50 for an HDMI cable, you may ask if there's a DVI port and use that as a substitute or bypass on line and purchase an HDMI cable on any form of websites (amazon, ebay)

You can find a better deal at Costco and Staples. The deal at Staples starts at $359. Both of these stores have an easy return policy with no RESTOCKING FEE. That means that the store appreciates it's customers MORE than it's vendors.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
