Assume T = a.r^(n - 1)
T/a = r^(n - 1)
log (T/a) = (n - 1).log r
n - 1 = log (T/a) / log r
n = log(T/a) / log r + 1

Where numbers are multiplied, their logs are added to give the log of the product.
Where a number is raised to a power, the log of the number is multiplied by the power to give the log of the result.

log(Tn) = log(a) + (n - 1)log(r).

Tn = ar^(n-1)
lg(Tn) = lg[ar^(n-1)]
lg(Tn) = lg(a) + lg(r^(n-1))
lg(Tn) = lg(a) + (n-1)lg(r)
