Ditto to G on the dwarf puffer, that would be a good fish for a 5 gallon. Also you can look for sparkling or croaking gourami, killifish, endlers livebearers or some wild type bettas like Betta imbellis.

You got another tank and it's still just a five gallon? The only thing that can go in there is a betta, nothing else. You already killed fish so I hope it will get through your skull that not many can live in that rinky thing. It's cruel to keep live things in such bad conditions. Please don't keep killing these fish, they suffer.

PS< silver dollars and angel fish get to be five inches and larger, so whoever thinks they are good for a five gallon is insane. And puffers also need a lot of room, at least a 20 gallon. Please don't torture these poor fish.

Dwarf Puffers are easy and small fish to take care of.

Here's a website on how to take care of them-http://www.dwarfpuffers.com.

Silver Dollars, they are about the size of a silver dollar when they mature, hence the name. they are very pretty being a metalic silver in color you could keep a pair or two in your tank. Any type of gourami would work, i especially like the opaline ones there a light metalic blue, hope i could help!!
