i worked for years as a supply teacher, doing long term / short supply but a year ago the school where i worked liked me enougth to keep me, i am in a wonderful dept with lots of support, but due to the year of supply my proffesional development has suffered and i lack confidence in delivering my subject area, despite being told by the school they are happy with what i do , they have promised to send me on courses, is there any good website or course one could do like a refresher course in art.. any suggestions! i must also mention i am coming from a pgce fe crossing over to secondary school.

I'm in the US, and you sound like you are not, so hopefully you can get something from my comments.
The art courses from the Internet here are not great, not even good in my opinion. But some of our universities have begun to do more classes on-line.
I think the best way to go is to look for old art textbooks in services like alibris.com, and ebay. You can buy used books for very little, then refresh your education using the books.At least, that would help with your art history. The creative part of art might be best refreshed at a near-by college, one class at a time, or as many as your school will pay for.
The more you work at your education, the faster your confidence will grow -don't worry, it may be deeply buried right now, but it will all come back. I hope you will do well.
