can a father put a restraining order on his girlfriend if they have a child together and still lives there..

yes, then his girlfriend would have to move.
but of course there has to be reason for the restraining order you can't just put one on someone for no reason'

Absolutely! If he feels threatened by her, he can report it to the court and request a restraining order. She can be ordered out of the house immediately.
