i think it is the rear main seal buy i dont kno it is a 94 cavalier rs

Is it a 6 or 4 cyl? could be the valve cover gasket, rear main, oil from torque converter, or in the case of a V6 it could also be the rear of the valley pan leaking, (top intake manifold seal) and possibly the oil pan itself.

the rear main seal is the most likely spot for your engine to leak in the back. If it is not leaking from the head gasket or valve gasket and running to the back and then dripping

Rear portions of the valve covers?
Oil pressure sensor?
Could be the oil filter too....

I know, it sucks that mechanics want to charge you for something you might not need.
