I knew a woman who wore 3 inch closed toe high heels with no stockings like no one's biz & said they were comfy like socks or sneakers.

what's wrong with 3 inch heels with no stockings a lot of women do that I wear heels up to 4 inches and no I don't wear stocking because they do nothing!

I have been an avid fan of flats for the past three years or so, and proclaimed all over the place that they were more comfortable than Laz-E-Boys. But I started finding it hard to walk long distances in my ballet slippers and developed a lot of pain in my heels.
I've since been told that getting sufficient arch-support is the healthiest thing of all in footwear. Three-inch heels ... is probably more than sufficient. But comfortable? Probably!

Not I. I like my natrual posture too much to throw it out of wack. Also, if they were the type of heels that are skinnier than a pen or pencil, there is no way I could walk in them without spraining an ankle or more (even before my pregnancy).
I'll stick with flats and wide, thick heels.

i am like that but i think it is because i walk on my toes anyway so a shoe actually being built like that helps support the way i walk. it also has a lot to do with walking in heels properly most people don't and that is why there is so much discomfort

I have a pair that are 4 inch, but they are wedges. They are Steve Madden. I can wear them with no problem for like 30 minutes, but after that, it's all down hill. My ankles and calves hurt really bad. I sometimes wonder why I even bought them.

I'm sure there are. There are all types of women. You can see those types of shoes at different stores. Yes, I'd say there are.
