It isn't a good excuse. There is never a good excuse for cheating on your signifigant other. However, I do feel that if that's what really happened.............you were blind drunk and ended up cheating, that it is a valid excuse.
I got drunk once a kissed one of my guy friends, which led to the break up of me and my ex. Had I been sober it would have never happened obviously. And I deeply regretted it and felt so ashamed.
So again, it isn't a good excuse. But i do feel that it's a valid one in some cases.

Getting drunk is exactly that - an excuse. People need to own up to the things they do, drunk or sober. If the person is your "significant" other, you wouldn't cheat on them, PERIOD. There is no excuse for cheating. None!

Absolutely not. It's more fun to cheat when you're sober, although the consequences can suck. It's better to get drunk by yourself. Then you don't have to worry about repercussions.

On the other hand, I tend to be a violent drunk. I get very angry when I'm drunk, don't mean it, but have hurt a lot of people doing it. Although the reason why I do it is because I'm drunk, it doesn't matter in the end.

Not if it happens more than once. Why? Because, you proved to your mate that you can't be trusted to be left alone with anyone without supervision when you're drunk when you cheated. If you did it a second time, you are adding that you don't care enough to take the necessary precautions to avoid making the same mistake twice.

The saying goes,"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." That can apply to anything an alcoholic can do. The offender needs to make a commitment to change or face the consequences.

No. If you know that when your drunk anything can happen then either A)dont drink at all and if you do drink dont drink to get drunk or B)get drunk w/ your significant other. No excuses people.

Well... if you wanna cheat...then u get drunk and do it nope... not a good excuse.... but if you got drunk and then cheated... that could be more of an excuse... but not a good one anyway. Cheating is still cheating.

NO, its not. What the hell were you doing getting drunk WITHOUT your significant other? Thats the only way TO get drunk, with your significant other. Not any behavior is excusable by it.....why would guys/ girls get drunk when they have one anyway?????? *shakes head*

No, being drunk is not an excuse for cheating of any other behavior! You are still responsible for your own actions, YOU CHOSE TO DRINK!

NO drunks always blame the booze, people always say the true you comes out when your drunk so if people cheat and act like assholes when they are drunk its just cause they don't have the balls to do it sober and don't care what they do when they are drunk...so no cheating on someone when you are drunk is No excuse....hopefully you didn't do that to someone...
