To me living in California, we drive all over the place so a far drive would be anywhere you want to go that's past 80 miles or about 2 or more hours away from home. If you're passing through area codes and the tv channels are not the same like at home, I consider that a far drive.

Just about any drive that takes more than 24 hours to complete. Otherwise it's all good. Well driving across flat, featureless terrain like come parts of Kansas is way too long.

well, i live in the middle of nowhere, so ANYWHERE from here is a far drive. our state capitol is a 11/2 hour drive, and that is the CLOSEST big city to us. Minneapolis is about 9 hours (one way), so you can imagine Chicago or New York or Denver.

yeah 45 minutes or more cause i just came back from a 45 minute ride to my cousin's bday party. it was so damn long that i was surprised that it was only 45 minutes. i wasn't driving but i was in the back seat bored listening to my iPod. it was fun still.

More than 12 hours in one day. Anything less than that seems to go pretty quickly for me.
