Our fan will not go on when cars temp starts rising we thought it was a sensor on the bottom of the engine but everyone told us that they quit making it, so we ran a wire with a toggle to manually turn on/off the fan, however we can not keep running it like that, any advice on what it is or what sensors/ switches we should look into? Or can someone lead me in the right direction.

I think it's on the bottom of the radiator.

ADDED:
It could be a bad relay under the hood drivers side in the power distribution box.
