Why can't I shutdown my laptop safely?

Happened in this a few days, I have to run the battery out to turn it off safely. Pls do not tell me to press the button power. I need to know why and how to solve it.Cheeers.

Hi. Press the Windows button between the left ctrl and alt buttons, then press U U. This will shut it down.
