I think lovers have to become friends or the relationship won't last. If they are just lovers that makes it a lustful relationship.

I am only talking from personal experience and the answer is no. Friends can become lovers but once lovers break up, then your friendship is changed and it is never as good.

I certainly hope so, but some people are unable to have a friendship after being lovers. It's so sad.

I'm still friends with virtually all my ex-girlfriends. Some may call me blessed, but as Dion Warwick sang, "Friends can be lovers, lovers can be friends"

Yes it's possible. If you both are mature enough to keep the friendship. I dated someone for 3 yrs and it didn't work out but 6 yrs later we still consider each other to be close friends..no benefits! Just friends;)

relies upon on ur definition of Friendship ! for my area, i think of that they could be ok mutually, nevertheless save speaking approximately a number of their humorous suggestions, their commons, their pastimes, additionally can nevertheless supply one yet another lots of the ideal advices, and can nevertheless snigger and be happy to chat/spend a while mutually. even regardless of the undeniable fact that, there'll constantly be that broken hollow between them that could desire to constantly lead them to sense "from the deeply interior" that they are nevertheless no longer pured or injury from one yet another, and could by no potential seem at one yet another the comparable way they used to.. Which in my definition isn't an exceedingly friendship! even regardless of the undeniable fact that I do have faith that acquaintances could be enthusiasts sometime if their friendship replaced into genuine, honest, and truthful.. solid success with that :))
