Depends on who they are and why I am waiting.
If it's someone I promised to meet at a certain place at a certain time and they weren't there exactly on time... I'd wait for a reasonable amount of time.
If it were a family member - I'd wait until I became so worried that I phoned to find out what went wrong.
If you are talking about waiting for your married lover to leave his wife - I'd tell you to forget it... if he had any intention of ending his marriage - he'd have done it before he took himself another woman!

Yes.I would wait for my hubby as long as it took. I sorta do now.He just got home from being on the road for 5 weeks and has to leave again Wednesday.And I will be waiting again..
