If yes, what do we have here that makes it a better place to live. Are you happy here and why, what makes it great?

If no, what kinds of things would we have to change to be more like some other better places to live. Is there another place on Earth you think is better and why...

Forget all the bleating about the loss of so-called rights the left loves to scream about.
It's their own damn fault if they have equated rights with a total lack of responsibility.
I've been around the block a couple of times, and there is no place on earth where you will enjoy the types of freedoms that you have here.
Think for a moment, in how many other parts of the world would you be able to call the leader of your country a war criminal and, not only get away with it, but have your accusation protected as a right ? That is just one example.
There are countless more.
"Oh My God!" they are thinking of reinstating the DRAFT!!!
"I'm going to move to Canada! Guess what? In Canada, if a Canadian citizen is out of work, and you apply for a job, that Canadian will get hired before you will. You are going to be living off mommy & daddy for a long time.
There is a lot more, but I think you get the picture.

We have many times the people wanting to immigrate here than any other country in the world( from virtually every country in the world). If we were so bad, then why is this true?

After many years living abroad, I say that the U.S. is, by far, the best place to live. Reasons why:

Clean, drinkable water.
No age limit on higher education.
One may choose to own a gun.
One may choose whether or not to change one's name upon marriage (Hawaii excepted).
Eccentricity is looked on with admiration.
Fresh fruits & veggies, in AND out of season.
More than one flavor of ice cream.
Medicine is NOT socialized, and neither is dental care.
Clothing and shoes in ALL sizes, not just sizes for the majority.
Central air and central heat.
Insulation.
Individual liberty.
A free press.
And, compared to many other nations, cheap food and rent.

And, that's just off the top of my head.

The USA is the greatest nation In the entire history of the Earth by a huge amount. There isn't even an other nation to compare it to. The next greatest was Britain at their height. They were magnificent for their day.

I think the US is the best country. We have freedom to do as we wish, as long as we do not harm others. I retired early because I could afford to do so. I enjoy my free time. I have no debts and a few dollars in the bank. I am happier than a pig in a sty full of fecal matter.

Well we still have a few things left, altought most of them are gone, but hopefully they will one day come back, freedom among other things, freedom of speech, parties, people smiling, believe in the future, and dollars...
