This question is pretty hard for me to express but can anyone tell me if there is a name or anything for a concept that deals with people being more comfortable not being free, that we need restriction in our lives to be comfortable and that it also stimulates creativity. Anything?

It's common and it's true. Freedom of choices is hard to deal with. Part of being a mature adult is getting more comfortable with choices. As long as someone is telling you what to do and not do, then you don't have to take responsibility for your actions. It is very easy to live according to the restrictions of other people. It is important to understand that kids need that, but part of growing up, and part of the turmoil of adolescence, is getting better at making your own decisions and living with the consequences.

As far as creativity in leisure pursuits, I guess it isn't so pressing and philosophical. There is nothing like a little restriction to get the old juices flowing. If you are decorating a house or planning a party with ten thousand dollars you don't have to be as creative as when you have only a thousand dollars to pull off the same amount of fun. You might have to make things that you could buy on a bigger budget, for example.

Hear listen! (Especially after they set hideously slim specifications for others, scream approximately how "immoral" others are then do not are living as much as the specifications themselves. Sarah Palin is a appropriate instance. ) Anybody who thinks that the human rights of others must be constrained arbitrarily must have theirs constrained within the equal process. Anybody who thinks the human rights of others must be positioned "to the need of the persons" must be the primary to position theirs up for a vote. It's top time the bigots quit considering they've the proper to run the lives of every person else, however that they must be in a position to do something they wish considering that of Freedom of Religion and many others. They suppose the Constitution applies best to them for a few purpose.

I don't know if there is a name for it, but it makes sense...just think about little kids...they NEED structure in their lives in order to feel safe. You might just feel insecure and better about things when you know what to expect. If you have too many choices, you might feel indecisive or unmotivated.
