Help. My computer is awfully slow, and i was told that i need to add DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) ram to help speed it up. Does anybody have some extra ram that works, and is willing to donate it to me, or sell it to me for a reasonable price??? please help. It takes forever just to open up my browser.

remember you get what you pay for. you might want to splurge and spend around 35$

check what kind of mobo you have to see what brands of ram work best. once you know your mobo, post a new question about what ram is compatible with you mobo also knowing what brand your already using will help. Its usually on a sticker on the ram.

Try defraging your computer, start, all programs, acessories, system tools, disc defragmenter. It will take about 20 mins to complete operation ,so just sit back and relax. It should restore quite a bit of memory,in turn it will speed up your computer
