For most of us, and for most of the day, the biggest questions are practical questions. How will I solve that problem at work? How will I get a job? What will I eat? Who might be willing to help me? Those are life's biggest questions. The rest waits until we have some leisure to sit and just think. We are lucky enough to live in a culture that allows enough leisure for Philosophy to develop and for some people to even be paid for it.

Life's biggest questions are those that are as of yet unknown. Imagine a circle: the interior of the circle represents everything that we know, while the exterior of the circle represents everything that is unknown. The circle itself, those perfect points equidistant from a center point, represents the questions we have. As our knowledge increases that circle grows larger. By answering the questions we have today we replace them with 3 new questions. The less you know the fewer questions you have, but as you gain knowledge your circle grows.

the ones we haven't asked yet.
the ones we've asked but can't agree on.....
the ones we've considered but are too afraid to ask
I think the hardest questions to answer though are the ones that have no easy answer, the ones that have answers requiring many fundemental beliefs- becuase it would be very very difficult to get everyone to agree.
