To translate a weather forecast for Scarborough just watch the national forecast, add two degrees celsius, half the amount of rain that's predicted and increase the amount of sun that's predicted.

For references to heavy rain read normal rain, for rain read showers, for showers read occasional showers, for occasional showers read dry. For fog read mist, for mist read haze, for haze read clear.

In short, it's generally somewhat better than the forecasts make out - apart from the temps which can be cooler if an offshore breeze is blowing.
