i dont mean any chemical reactions taking place or anything complicated like that just purely mechanical. simply magnets and moving parts put together to produce electricity for the life of the maget.

has anyting like this been build atmpted talked about... anything. please be 100% sure of your answeers

one more thing, if some i had an idea on how i might go about making a machine like that what advise can u give me about how to go about it, what its im plications might be... all that good stuff.

No! A magnet is helpful in generating electric power but the energy does not come from the magnet. In electric generating systems there is always a source of energy. Most typically the energy has some mechanical source such as a hydro dam, nuclear steam generator, oil fired steam generator, natural gas turbine or a windmill. There are also sources like geothermal and solar.

The first law of thermodynamics rules out any sort of "free" energy machine. The laws of thermodynamics can be restated in a form that is easy to understand (I first heard this from a thermodynamics professor:

It is a restatement of the laws of thermodynamics in a form that is easier to understand (more poetic).

The restated laws are

1. you can't win
2. you can't even break even
3. you can't stop

The Motionless Electromagnetic Generator (MEG)

Has produced up to 100 times more power than was input, by extracting free energy from the vacuum. The MEG has been independently constructed, and its overunity performance independently replicated, by other researchers. US Patent awarded March 26, 2002. Invented by Tom Bearden and four colleagues.

ATTENTION POWER GENERATION INDUSTRY: The Bohren Experiment produces 18 times more energy than is input (in the accounted Poynting flow), any time or place it is performed—it can readily be developed to produce excess clean heat for power generation.

The Kawai overunity magnetic motor can be built exactly from the Patents using high-speed switching. Teruo Kawai held nothing back in the Patents. Motor will also self-power (close-loop).

Any electrical engineering department can build a successful magnetic Wankel engine, since its principles are already in electrical engineering. The motor simply eliminates its back mmf, so that it continuously accelerates and can power a load with only some switching and control input. It is also easily close-looped, to make it totally self-powering.

These are from a noted inventor and scientist Mr Tom Bearden you can see all this for yourself at the Tom Bearden website.

There is no way you can get power out of a machine without putting some form of energy into it. Electric generators work by moving magnetic fields relative to conductive coils, but it takes slightly more power to turn the shaft than you can get out of it in the form of electricity. People who claim you can get free energy are either crackpots or frauds.

The answer is no. This is more than just an engineering issure; there is a mathematical relationship between energy and magnetism, and using those equations, it can be proven mathematically that a machine such as you describe is impossible.

To put it another way, if such a machine were built, then either it would be using something different from "magnets" as we know them; or it would be producing something different from "energy" as we know it.

Magnets can power something, sure. But the energy to power it comes from somewhere, and that somewhere is the magnet, meaning the magnet will eventually lose enough of its magnetism, and not be able to continue powering your device.

Ok - My friend and I we have been building these motors and generators for a quite a number of years....... to no success so far.

These devices are called OU devices standing for Over Unity. That means one gets more energy out than one puts in. We and bought lots of 1/2"Lexan plastic, very powerful rare earth neodymium magnets of different sizes and strength... had to equip the shop with a good lathe and milling machine for very exact machining etc. Then there are numerous pieces of test and Lab equipment needed to verify what you are doing.

We made all the coils in any possible shape and tried any combination of slugs/cores from black sand to magnetite to soft iron and exotic Metglass, All very expensive and time consuming. There is the symmetry to consider....... the rotor having an even number of magnets - lets say 16 - and the stator with all the coils an odd number of 15 coils. Theoretically the forces should cancel each other out - that's what they say......

Then we ended up with magnetic drag, unwanted magnetic attraction or repulsion which threw a wrench into the designs. Then there is the "Lenz Law" to overcome. Even Open pick-up coils heated up due to eddy currents in the copper windings alone..... plus the magnetic cores/slugs produced heat. There are all losses that one tries to ovwercome.

Other motor designs/generator designs needed special arrangements regarding how the rotor magnets have to be angled in regards to others on the stator ....... We have spent I don't know how many thousands of $$$$$ and have yet to achieve a breakthrough in Over Unity. I hope that one day we find a way to circumvent the Law of Thermodynamics. Scientists say it is impossible...... bu then, any inventor is never satisfied and keeps thinkering around.

As to your last paragraph..... The implications may be drastic.
First... there is aREALLY good chance that you disappear for good. The current establishment controlling energy like oil etc will not allow you to ever come out with free energy!!! and tryig to cut into their huge profits. Do you know how many patents have been suppressed, locked up and seized in the name of National Security?!?! There is no need for an energy crises ever! You will never be allowed to put a carburator on your car that gets 120Miles/gallon .... and they are out there believe me..... locked up for good. Try googling "Over Unity devices, or Free Energy inventions...... Zero point energy etc. Read the accounts of threats these people have received to shut up or stop or ELSE. Many simply have disappeared and never seen again together with their shops and inventions they were working on.

I will leave it at that for now....... If you want to experiment - start low and do your studies first - see what others have done like Bedini, Bearden and so on. There a many sites to visit and study :) Have fun my friend. Personally.... I am not giving up to find ways to get more out than one puts in.

It is fun when one has the resources and time to invest.... :)

Addendum... Dan.... Do you have to be so brutal? :-)

deslock113..... We built those too. Honeywell used to sell the material - but not anymore. They have some peculiar effects that are sometimes frightening. I remember from a while ago when we had one on the bench...... at a CERTAIN switching frequency it must have emitted or generated something unusual. My friend looked at me and saw that my body was surrounded by a blue aura, field of about one inch. Then he became violently ill and ran outside trying to throw up...... The HP spectrum analyzer showed a sustained spike at about 70 MHz EVEN when the power was cut off to the MEG.

Now.... having read what happened to planes and boats in the Bermuda triangle and the time warp effect - all having been enveloped in a blue field.... we never repeated that experiment. I did not want to find myself in some warp or other dimension. We still have all the parts - maybe one day I will get back to that.

Many people have claimed to do it, but none of the claims have held up under scientific scrutiny. It is one of the more popular ideas of people who claim to have built perpetual motion machines.
