Gamma rays has the most energy. The shorter the wavelength the higher the energy. Of visible light violet (not blue!) has the highest energy. Ultraviolet has even more energy but is not visible with human eyes.

blue is right. the higher the frequency the more info you can carry. which is why the newest hddvd and blu ray disk players use blue lasers instead of red ones like traditional dvd and cd players use.

It's hv where v is frequency (reciprocal of wavelength) and h is Plancks Constant.
