We live in a mobile home park. It is a pretty nice one. But the houses are still pretty close together. We have been having problems with our neighbor ever since they moved in over a year ago. Aside from them being loud and fighting all the time they have a dog (a very large german shephard) who is mean and bites. We have reported them to the park many times and they have been keeping control of their dog for the most part. But I have two small children and I still worry. The last straw came yesterday when my daughter (3 yr) started repeating what the neighbor was saying. Stuff like "That is so F---ing funny!" I am pretty sure that my neighbor is psycho is very violent (atleast this is how he seems with his own family) so talking to him about it is out of the question. The park said there isn't anything they can do unless other neighbors complain about them. Is there anything else I can do? Legally maybe? Thank you for you help.

Every time they are loud enough that you can here them in your home with the doors and windows shut and the TV on call the Police and explain that to them very calmly and carefully. If you seem the least mad, the police will label you a nut. And every time the police make a report ask that a copy be sent to park manager and after about three reports, threaten to sue if the manager does not take action to evict them. Remember always be rational, calm, and collected. We want them to realize that you are a good citizen being bombarded by their noise pollution in your home.

the only thing you could probably do is about that dog. if you live within a city limits or a county with strict leash laws that should take care of it. if you witness the dog being aggressive you can report that to the sheriff and then they can tell you what to do from there.

my advice is for you is to move out of the trailer park if you can do it. odds are if these losers leave, you'll eventually get new stupid people there. sometimes you get lucky and have great neighbors but one bad apple like these losers is all it takes.

Talk to other neighbors and the park and explain the situation, maybe someone will talk to them. If that doesn't work, you could call animal control on the dog.

I doubt there is much you can do, except call the police about the fighting. Maybe you can see about moving the home to a different lot (I know that is kind of far fetched)
