How does it work? Can you use a regular thermometer? What temps are good when you are TTC?

It is just like a regular fever thermometer except it reads a little more accurate, to 0.1 degrees instead of the usual 0.2 degrees. It also takes longer to read the temp so it gets it more accurate. When TTC the first half of your cycle your temps will be in the 96-97.5 range and after ovulation your temp will raise between .5 and 1 degree and remain high for the rest of the cycle--or 9 months if you get pg!
Some people do use a regular thermometer and it works fine for them.
You will need to take your temp first thing in the morning at the same time every day before getting out of bed, eating, drinking, etc.
