Been told its a peice of eight pirates coin 1700 if interested please email me I have seen one just like it in ebay go for 650.00

I suggest you take it a coin appaiser and verify what it is really worth. You may be cheating yourself. If you tell the appraiser that you don't want to sell, they will give you a honest value.

It needs to be authenticated, there are a lot of fake and counterfeit pieces of eight out there. Most do not sell anywhere near $650. You must have seen a rare variety on eBay. You may have a common one. See a coin dealer, most know about your coin for it was used here as money up to 1857 or so. It is also a lot of money for us over 11 also.
