Sorry dear to rub it in but I am not going to work tomorrow,or the next day, etc.Lucky me I am retired. Most of the time ,when I was working though I wouldn't say I always looked forward to it ,but I didn't mind. Then on the few times I really did not want to go,usually after a holiday or Christmas, once there I enjoyed it,The reason is.,I know it sounds corny, but it was rewarding work.I was a nurse.

Not. Becuase my work is not valued, by society or by those around me. I am, or was, a stay at home mom. And when there were children to care for I was very very happy. I was a good mom and loved my work.

But once the children are succesfully raised, and gone, I'm nothing more then a janitor. I am at the very bottom of the food chain. My skill as a mom is not remembered or needed. No one cares that I'm good with babies. No one cares that I know a million toddler songs.

I wish I could tell every girl in the world, "do you wonder why you need an education when you only want to be married and have babies? Becuase. . . . one day the babies will be gone. Then what will you do?
Get an education!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have college, I'm not looking forward to it at all! We'll be expected to be there and told off if we aren't (I missed a day last week and am expecting a slap on the wrist) and yet we just have private study all day so may as well go home again. Complete waste of time. Waste of money too, a return bus ticket costs a fiver. Eugh... only six weeks to go!

Yes. Tomorrow I'm working at an environmental day camp. It's really fun. I worked there last summer, and I'm definitely looking forward to it this year as well.

No I am not looking forward to go to class tomorrow, since everyone there is either a ****, a ***** or both. My friend is only in one of my classes and sits far away from me. Plus I have 2 tests and I do not feel like studying since it kinda sucks at home.

Well, I need the money and I quite like the work, but I like the weekends more. New job a few months ago, I'm now a trainee electronics assembler. One of the most interesting jobs I've had. Gonna be hard to leave though when I up-sticks in a few years time and move to Cape Verde.
