Queenslander - Anyone who comes from Queensland doesnt have a right to criticize anyone (except those born in Cairns ;) )

Queenslander - You must be as thick as two short bricks if you cant get the 'Cairns' connection I quoted earlier. Perhaps, just maybe, I said Cairns QLD, because I was born there?

Geez, You are destroying my faith in fellow Australians. Still I assume you are the type who is over here hanging about in Walkabout bars LOL ........

Well, maybe everyone will have a FAIR chance of finding their missing children now!
I understand that they dont want to give up hope that their little girl will return alive and well, and i too hope that that will be the outcome, unfortunately i doubt that will ever happen.

By creating the circus and media frenzy they have probably helped conceal her without even knowing! I mean, whoever took her, well they would know exactley what the police are looking for, the places they are looking, when and where has been searched already. The media and mcganns have not helped at all, i think that they basically put the nails in the coffin so as to say.

With tens of thousands of missing kids each year, those who cant afford to create this buzz are probably also getting further away from hope of reuiniting with their loved ones. The Mcganns stole the attention of the world and diverted it to themselves.

99% of those parents with missing kids WOULD NEVER have left their kids on their own while they swanned of for a fancy dinner, if they wanted to be loving and romantic they could have sent one to collect a meal and enjoyed it on their balcony!

I hope the little girl turns up safe and well, but good ridance Mcganns, you have turned a plea for help in to an artform of making money and exposing yourselves as irrisponsible parents and attention seekers.

Lets all get back to looking on milk cartons and helping the others have a decent shot at finding their babies.

Don't worry to much Dave, I am sure you will find something deserving of your indignation.
It stands to reason that sooner or later someone out there will mess up and you will be able to post comments on how negligent they have been, what should happen to them and give guidance to any of the agencies involved in how to deal with the situation.
I think you only asked this question in order to receive some of the "Oh Don't go Dave" type of responses you have had.
Anyway Dave, I am sure we will be hearing from you soon and until then..........well I guess we will have to live without your input........
What will we do without Dave s to guide us ?

Ring up Billy Smart's or Chipperfields see if they want to take the TEAM McCann (PLC) franchise!

Someone's said that it aint over til the fat lady sings, Dave, I'd cool your heels and just chill, this story's not over by a country mile.
I'd vote for you as Prime Minister, as long as you promised to sack Hazel Blears, or failing that, throw the head in.

You could start your own. A talking duck would be a hit.
Edit: Seriously, why don't you spread awareness, positive awareness, about some other tragic case? We could still hope for Madeleine tho'...

OMG. Why are they slating Dave s. What has he done to deserve the idiots coming on here telling that guy to shut up. I will say one thing, if it hadn't been for Dave giving us the latest news we would never of known the latest updates. There are just a few people on here who needs to shut up, not Dave s. There are so many rude people without manners on YA's these days.

I know what you mean....will we get bored of TV when we dont Superstars Kate and Gerry popping up on TV every 5 mins.......I DON'T think so!!! what they actually mean is that they are getting a bit bored of playing 'super-star / can we be celebrities?' and there's been a couple of 'good leads' in the search for Maddie, so I think they are a bit P'd off and perhaps preparing for the 'good' news (as they would see it - being sarcastic now) that their daughter may be somewhere and maybe she can come home!! HOW the hell would they deal with that one!?!?! Their bank manager would have a heart attack!! AND the private jet would go on the scrap heap.....
