One meter is for speed and the other meter is for what and why is it there?

I notice today when I checked the answers that someone gave a bad point to Weezer, that wasn't me and I think that should have been a point in plus, because it's a good answer.

The gauge (not meter) is to measure RPM's.
That 's revolutions per minute (of the engine).
It tells you how hard the engine is working at any given moment. When you are at a stop, it's very low, and increases the harder you accelerate.

It is for the speed your engine is going in revolutions per minute. It is most useful with manual transmissions

Well, If your not talking about the oil pressure gauge. the voltage gauge or the fuel gauge, then your must be talking about the tachometer. This measures the RPM's (rotations per minute) of the engine so you dont over -rev and blow the engine darlin!!

Speedometer and the odometer. One tells you how fast you are driving and the other tells you how far your car has been driven (20,000 miles etc.)
