Please do not underestimate just how many half-wits there are in this country - many legions of them, certainly enough to have made it to BB8.
It greatly amuses me to hear them say "yes - it's interesting" or "yes - it's really creative"; the definitions of these adjectives have clearly drastically changed for the worse in recent times... And to describe yourself as an "avid fan" of BB - how is it possible to be such a thing? What kind of obscure prioritisation of what is truly important in life is that?
Alot of them also seem utterly incapable of constructing a basic grammatical sentence - see "it's addicting" below as Exhibit "A". Mind you, if their most challenging literary material is "Heat" magazine, I guess that should be hardly surprising.
I suppose that many of them actually watch it because they can't bear to be left out of the tedious conversation at work, college or school.

Hate it. It's pointless. What kind of mindless creature thought it would be a good idea to stick some random strangers from the street in a room of cameras and then at the end proclaim one of them a celebrity? Celebrities actually WORK for a living. Some of these "fake" celebrities, i.e. Jade Goody and Paris Hilton take their so-called "celebrity-hood" for granted. They think they're above the law and that they can get away with anything. Just look at Paris Hilton. In prison. Can you really see her as anything more than a dirty old tart, not fit enough to run a whole chain of hotels, which she is supposed to be heiress to? I also think that after this second occasion of racism on Big Brother, they should ban it altogether, just like they should've done years ago, before it started!
Person 1: Hey, mate! I just got the autograph of someone famous!
Person 2: Oh yeah? Who?
Person 1: It's.... you know.... so-and-so from Big Brother. The fat one? Or was it the blonde one? Which series were they in?
(Get my point? Big Brother is S***!)

I do. I think it's interesting to see how people's relationships develop over time in such a difficult environment, I also find it amazing how different people are compared to how they see themselves and find it interesting to watch what they learn about themselves whilst in the house.
I also think there are some really funny moments in the house, as well as some arguments which make viewing it interesting. Although I have found that the racist comments made in past series and this one are not good. I really don't agree with racism and don't agree with anything that is said to do with that so I find that that makes the program kinda very bad.

It had taken you 2 sequence to return to that end? nicely, atleast you gave it a gamble. i like staring at uncomplicated, widely used human beings put in a challenge, which they have little administration over, and seeing how they react and have interaction with one yet another below enormous Brothers rule. that is marvelous the way you notice human beings's personalities and attitudes substitute gradually over the path of the programme. each from time to time for the extra perfect, different situations not plenty so. I additionally like the certainty that uncomplicated people who bypass into the residing house can do incredibly nicely for themselves whilst they bypass away, and it provides a great form of possibilities to your wide-unfold widely used individual. needless to say counting on the way you habit your self in the residing house because of the fact it could have the alternative effect besides.

Would you stand behind 5 people sitting on a park bench, and listen in to their inane conversation. Yes? Then you may find big brother interesting. No? Then you have a life.

Yes, me! Gilders get your facts straight and do your research - I enjoy it from a psycholgical point of view watching how people react in a confined situation, how they interact with each other, how groups form and reform etc. etc.. There is plenty to watch and I find people watching fascinating. You could learn a lot about yourself Gilders if you took the time.....

Might be more interesting if they just put a cross section of ordenary people in the room instead of picking halfwits and egotists.

no, you get into it and they cut out the sound, and you know blatantly that they are being blocked out because they are discussing a brand they find really good or have some gossip which you half hear.
Irritating, its like the tw*t who tells the 10 minute joke then forgets the punchline.
