Only if both people really want it to work. I was in a long distance relationship for 2 years before moving closer. He was completely worth it. We are now married.

depends for how long you will be apart , but i can work if you and your spouse are willing to commit to the relationship , now is more easy to keep in touch by internet by phone you can see the other person in your webcam so i think it can if you really want too.

personally for me it didn't work because we weren't around each other enough to get to really know each other. talking over the phone or e-mailing is not like being together. that cannot replace hugs or kisses when you need them the most.

Yes, I am currently in one, it all comes down to trust. If you don't or can't trust someone then no it won't work. I trust my boyfriend completely.
