I am not sure what kind of car you have but I had that problem on my 2003 Chevy Silverado. When I took it in for an Oil Change I had my mechanic check it out. What he told me was that the passenger airbag had an electrical short and good thing I mentioned it to him because the bag could have deployed at any moment and in the event of an accident it might not have worked. But the electrical short would only affect the airbag and nothing else (which is good). So what he did was turn the airbag off from inside the engine. But the driver side airbag still works. I suggest getting it looked at for peace of mind and if you have a newer car it might be under warranty…..Good Luck

Yes, it could be something like a sensor, a wire unlplugged, just realize that your airbag light is a warning that your airbag might not properly deploy and you should have it checked for your own protection.

Not really. The light on indicates your bag will NOT work as designed to help you in the case of an accident.

yeah it should be, pray it sunder warranty bcause its pretty pricey to replace a faulty sensor

it would probably be best to get it checked out but u wld probably be okay anyways.
