I even saw a lot of Asian jokes on Saturday Night Live

It may not be polite to tell these type of jokes, it is not illegal.

Legal .... sure for the most part it is an exercise of the First Amendment except that if you do it on the air as a paid entertainer or a paid writer in a tasteless way there is no First Amendment clause that will protect your job.

It certainly is NOT Criminal !! My Freedom of Speech is protected by the First Amendment... and the ACLU.

Personally I LOVE a good joke... I even remember the days prior to "political-correctness" when as a kid you wouldn't GET in trouble for having a "Polish/Italian Jokebook" in your school desk !!

How to confuse an Illegal Central American Immigrant ?

Fly them to IRAQ, drop them next to a simulated Arizona border-fence... and watch them walk North... and North... and North... and North... and then try to find a Yob in Turkey !!

Freedom of speech gives him the right to speak his mind. It's not illegal in any way, shape, or form. It's offensive, but not any more than any of the other name calling that goes on within politics.

What concerns me more is the whole "politically correct" crap that's going on. Take a joke, have some sarcasm.

Probably not, since Leno is a white male. A democrat judge would probably give him the chair if they weren't against capital punishment, although they might waive the prohibition in his case.

I know Bush is doing everything in his power to take away or Freedom of Speech, but he hasn't yet. I have been called allot of things and I brush it off. The people that take personal offense should grow up.

Obviously Leno hasn't read the Y!A community guidelines.

OK is one thing, legal is another. I'm going to have to say, with the freedom of speech thing and everything, that it's legal. Funny may be another matter.

Oh, good...I can't wait for the next question! I'm all goose-pimply!
