A good quarterback should not only have skills but should also know the game mentally. He should be able to read defenses and make good, sound decisions and minimal interceptions. He should be unflappable; if he makes a bad play, he shouldn't panic over it but should hold himself accountable and move on. Most importantly he should be a good leader on and off the field since he is the guy that all players, particularly on offense, will look up to.

My list is more based on how I think they'll do this year: 1. Drew Brees: He's consistent and is able to squeeze passes into the tightest spaces 2. Peyton Manning: Incredibly experienced and knows just about everything about the game. 3. Phillip Rivers: Even with a sub-par running game, he continues to impress, not with his attitude though. 4. Aaron Rodgers: Developing into being an elite quarterback, only getting better right now. 5.Tom Brady: This guy had one heck of an injury, but is almost his old self again. 6. Tony Romo: Finally learned some experience and found a way to deliver 7. Donovan Mcnabb: Brings to the table an elusiveness that many quarterbacks lack. 8. Brett Favre: He isn't as good as people make him out to be; he's always had a very good receiving core. Plus, his turnaround of the Vikings was from a previously Tarvaris Jackson-led team. Not saying much... 9. Matt Ryan: He suffered injuries in 09' which halted his progression, but with a great coaching staff I expect to see him in the top 3 within a couple of years. 10. Eli Manning: Maybe it's just genetic, but this kid is still pretty good. Didn't do too well last year though

Try writing the coach of your favorite team-I'm sure an address will be listed on the website somewhere...you just have to hunt for it. Ask him directly what he looks for in a good quarterback.

Wow that is a great goal for life right there. You have to show leadership on and off the field. The coach needs you to win the game. don't turnover the ball. I'm 16 and my goal is to be a DT in the NFL. I hope to see you in the future because I HATE QUARTERBACKS and I can't wait for FOOTBALL!!! WOOOOOO!!!!

Be a leader on and off the field. You are the "man" - no matter at what level of play - and you must be the go-to person when it comes to being class off the field and helping others in practice, while being the ultinate leader/team player during games.

NO turnovers! good decision making and DO NOT lose the game for us! preperation and practice is key! know your playbook and reads! remember, the ball is in your hands so be a leader and treat that ball like gold! you dont have to win game by yourself, but you can lose it...BE SMART OUT THERE!

Not to make mistakes, they want you to win games not lose them. its one thing for your team to lose, but dont let it be your fault from turnovers.
