Because most people are bandwagon fans and not true fans, therefore all the retard nfl fans out there are on the chargers bandwagon til they suck again, and then theyll jump ship to the next team and support their best player. This is why LT is such an overrated and popular back.

Holy crap....how can anyone say that Tomlinson is overrated???? This is in response to the person that said he is overrated. You are absolutely insane, or are 12 years old and don't understand football. LT2 is one of the best all around players in the NFL. End of story. He can catch out of the back field..ala Marshall Faulk/Priest Holmes and can run with finesse and power ala Barry Sanders/Emmitt Smith. I think he had every right to get pissed off about the Patriots showboating on their home field 50 yard line. It's the same as when TO did it on the Dallas star a number of years ago. Except he got drilled for doing it. You just don't do stuff like that. My boss is a die-hard Pats fan and even he said that was uncalled for. I don't think Tomlinson is a hypocrit. He's one of the most humble guys in the NFL. No 20 minute end zone celebration, just does his thing and back to the huddle. He always credits his supporting cast. It's never "I did" with him. It's always, "The guys around me." I wish there were more players like him in the NFL. And I wish he played for the cowboys! LOL

First off, he has a southern accent so his english might not be perfect, but he is a class act regardless. Not once during the season did he taunt another opponent or bully them, always shaking hands and congradulating them on a good effort in a very professional way. The Chargers didn't "mock" the Patriots in any way, shape, or form; it's called Swagger. Before The Patriots playoff loss in 2005, they always had this swagger, arrogantly confident that his team will beat any other team. Why couldn't the Chargers do the same thing when they were good? But on Tomlinson's standpoint, he never acted that way. And believe it or not, it is disrespectful to go to the middle of the field and start celebrating on your home turf, its one thing to do it on the sideline or in the locker room, but there wasn't any need to do all the extra taunting they did in the middle of the field for everyone to see.

What are you talking about, I'm sure you'd be mad if another team beat your team on your turf in a playoff game and then danced on your logo! L.T. is the best player in the NFL right now, and he gives credit to everybody. Plus, he does a lot of charity work, which is why the public fawns over him. Yes, I'd be mad if the other team started dancing on my home turf, and I'd call them classless, which the Pats are. The only reason why they've even been to the SB three times is because of a stupid penalty ( which doesn't even exist) was called on the Raiders, so stop calling L.T. a crybaby because he doesn't go tuanting everybody else and this is caming from a Bears fan. I also agree with everybody whose said that they'll take L.T. any day, I'd rather see him winning it then the Pats honestly.

Look he's a young guy and he felt like he had to say something at that point. I'm not gonna try to defend him, but I'm not still going to call him names for something that happened 6 months ago. The public still fawns over him, because he is the best running back in the league, had one of the greatest seasons ever by a running back last season, and is primed to have an even better season this year.

LaDanian Tomlinson is a soft-spoken, humble guy who gives all his credit to his team. Every time somebody asks him about his greatness, he turns around and hands the spotlight to Lorenzo Neal, Marcus McNeil, Marty Schottenheimer, Philip Rivers... anybody within reach.
Add to it that he's the most complete back ever to play football: he has speed, moves, power, and hands, plus he knows how to pick up a blitz. If he stays healthy, he'll end the debate of Jim Brown/Walter Payton/Barry Sanders/ Emmitt Smith, as he is on pace to be unquestionably the best RB ever.
The Patriots aren't totally without class, but they had no business showboating after a game they should have lost, and lost big.
Oh, and if you still think poorly of him, try asking Bob Kraft sometime if he'd ever want Tomlinson on HIS team. It would go something like, "We're very happy with Maroney, but a guy like LT..."

chum permit me permit you recognize as a Steelers fan I submit to in concepts the classless acts by technique of the Patriots. they're cockey and too arogant for their very own good. After the AFC identify interest in 2004 Corey Dillon stood up on a bench and waved a poor towel and yelled on the followers. close up millionaire and supply up yelling on the human beings who help help the league that supplies you your the oppurtunity to make those enormous tests. Have admire while your in somebody elses abode. besides final time I checked Corey Dillon replaced right into a reject from the Cincinatti Bungles who had an entire profession of no longer something. Now hes being replaced by technique of a greater advantageous working back in Lawrence Malroney. I dont like the Chargers, yet LT had each and every good to get mad.

Patriots proved him right by trading for Moss. Tomlinson backs it up on the field. I think what bothered him was the fact that the Patriots didn't put them in "their place". Diego flat out gave them that game. The Pats had no business winning it. They turned classless and are getting worse every day.

Well, I will take that crybaby on my team any day of the week, he is one of the few elite players in the league who hasn't done anything bad, weather it be on or off the field, in their entire careers. And when did Tomilson start bullying people, I remember him beating other teams but not bullying them. And for what the Pats did, I can see how he called them a classless, because of what happened after the game against Indy where Bill Belichick avoided Payton Manning after the game, and what he did after the New York game as well.

Mocked the Patriots all season????
wtf are you talking about?
The only one I see crying and whining is you.
Typical Patriot fan, no one could expect less.
Patriots can't win a AFC championship game unless it is played at home and in a blizzard. And even then they need refs to call fumbles forward passes.
We will see wich team puts the other in their place this season. They play Sept. 16, but that isn't what I'm waiting for, I'm waiting for another playoff game between them.
MAY THE PATRIOTS CRASH AND BURN

I'm not a CHARGERS fan but, I never heard of Him whining. I do know He gives a lot back to the community which, I think translates to class. the only thing negative that I could say about Ladanian is that, He should get His own nickname. the real L.T. was the greatest outside linebacker ever to play the game. hall of famer Lawrence Taylor.
