People mostly put their rabbit questions in rodents. OK they're not rodents, maybe that category should be renamed 'small furries'. They'll probably get a rabbit section in due course, until very recently there was no rodent or horse section. Send Yahoo a Suggestion!

Anyway, Petplan is my favourite insurance company, they do cats, dogs, rabbits and horses and are usually very good at paying up, unlike many companies. They're one of the more expensive - as with all things, you get what you pay for.

Just stay away from E&L, Direct Line and Tesco - rubbish!

Rabbits would be a 'general' category as the number of pet cats, dogs and birds far outnumber those who keep rabbits.

Here's a link to the only pet insurance I know of for rabbits and it's a link from a bunny organization. The problem with most pet insurance is that you can only go to certain vets. That is not the case with this insurance. We opted for no insurance for our cats, although my sister uses this insurer for her 3.
