Pro Wrestling is not fake. Saying "It's fake, but the moves are real, the injuries are real, the back pain of bumping on cement is real" is a damn Oxy-moron!
This is not a question anyone who is not in the business can honestly answer.
The action is real, it is what is used to tell the story in the ring. Yes, we use violence to tell a story, no one said we were normal lol.
No wrestler will say the finishes aren't pre-planned etc....But when people get kicked there is contact, but not enough to kill someone. Punches are real, but not thrown to take someone's head off.
Wrestler's bleed two ways...The old timers like 1980's and prior would either use a razor or bleed "Hardway". Heardway means they would bleed from a legit to the head from a punch, kick, chairshot etc..If hit in the right place on the head/forehead, you can easily bust skin. Of course, when done the hardway, you'd also get marked up, black and blue etc,,and that was the believeability of it.
Today most blood is caused by razors. Small razors, cut into the skin. From sweating etc,,,,blood can at times seem more than it really is.
And of course, people will bleed from having a busted lip, biting on their tongues or getting their teeth knocked out. Which are from accidents in the ring, not caused on purposed or called for.
I'm not exposing anything that no fan knows already, but I hope you look at wrestling a lil different with more respect for what wrestlers do to entertain the fans.
Peace

mercury at armageddon was an accident, as well as a few other spots, but holly was all real, he hit the edge of the table. acutally most blood in WWE and ECW and TNA is all real. go to wikipedia.org and look up blading as a wrestling term. also check out the "mass transit" incident for a bad blading attempt

Well Mercury at Armageddon was a mistake... his nose was never suposed to hit the ladder the way it did.. alot of the wwe is coreographed and practices and is pre determind.. BUT that dosent stop the fact that wrestling HURTS!!!! The way most wrestlers bleed is somthing called Blading... its a method of taking a razor and well cutting urself... another way are bloodpacks...littloe packs of red liquid that they pop aginst there heads at certain times... so yeah

WWE, TNA, RAW, all that stuff is 'fake' meaning that its scripted and rehearsed and whatnot but they do actually do the moves and they do slam hard.
Wrestling in high school, college and the olympics is real tho, meaning its unscripted no predetermined outcomes they are actually trying to win. Bad injuries are less frequent but when they happen people get MESSED UP. Ive been to tournaments where Ive seen someones hand touch their shoulder but their elbow was bending the opposite way. It was broken in several different places. There are also minor concussions which happen a lot in styles like greco roman.

Professional wrestling is a highly scripted exhibition of both athletic moves and drama. It is akin to a soap opera with the setting of a square ring and a number of both heroes and villains. I have no doubt that great physical and acting ability is required. Obviously, one would be liable for great physical injury in performing the moves, if the players were not in condition.

properly the bumps and bruises you get interior the cage suits are genuine, and the wrestling strikes finished on the mat are genuine. it is in basic terms issues like the punches, they the two connect very softly or never, wrestlers have intending to strike quickly yet connect slowly. cage suits does have an consequence on a wrestlers anatomy. the blood area is common, while the wrestler is down and the digicam is dealing with away, the wrestler could have a small razor blade hidden interior the tapes around his hands, or the tapes on his wrist and could slowly slice their foreheads, making it appear like they're wiping sweat away. from time to time it extremely is blatent, as an occasion a pair of months in the past in a experience between william regal and triple h the place triple h blatently decrease regal with the blade.

wrestling is fake. they bleed by opening up the skin- all blood are real. they carry a small razor blade inside their apparel or the wirst band and then when they are down they cut themselves on the forehead. sometimes you can notice them cutting themselves
