Don't put to much stock in song life is what you make of it. It has become trendy to be depressed I know. But really think about it for some depression is a choice. A decision to not move your life in an upward motion. Yeah we will get sad and angry thats human but if we choose to be happy and pursue a life worth living then we don't ride the coat tails of society and hate what we have.

What's it all about?

I think living. Living life to the fullest.

There is no doubt that we all have this great need for our lives to have meaning. But where does this need come from? There are only two choices:

1) We are created beings and our need for meaning comes from our Creator and was intended to urge us to seek Him even not knowing for sure whether He exists or not.

2) Our need for meaning comes from mindless evolution. If this is the case, all is blackest despair for evolution cannot give meaning. So, in this case, the evolutionary process is forcing us like slaves to seek something that doesn't exist.

The lyrics say love is "Something even non-believers can believe in". But if evolution is the answer, love is no exception and it is also meaningless.
