I am trying to find out who took over the above business. It was owned and ran by a man named Dan Puckett. Several years ago, I purchased a Bind All machine and it was great for applying binding to a finished quilt. I no longer own that machine but need to purchase a fabric folder (like on the Bind All) for another industrial machine. This company also made fabric folders for other machines and I really want to get one. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Mr. Puckett evidently had a nervous breakdown after some business problems. He was being sued because his machines caught fire, so he threw bleach on a 6500.00 quilt at a quilt show. If you go to the Design-a-Quilt website, it appears they are now just an ad site, but they do have an email address that might get you closer to finding the equipment you want. designaq@apex.net

Obviously factories are using some kind of binding equipment, but as crafters we do ours by hand so we wouldn't really know where to get machines to do it for you.

I worked for Dan when all of the bleach throwing mess was going on. Dan is a good man. The lady suing him was crazy!!! Early on he just tried to return her money for the machine because she was so difficult. I spoke with her and she is just one of those people. There is always two sides to the story and it was wrong of Dan to damage her quilt. I can understand it though. She was just plan nuts!! Looks like she one the battle though. Shame too. He always payed his employee's fair and was good man to work for. He helped me out a lot and he will always be my favorite employer. Hope things have become better for him.

Just a suggestions but go to google and search for a authorized dealer for your machine. It should list the new shop name and number. If not you might find one also most as close to you, I have found most dealers in the area know what is or has happened to the ones closest to them.
