I would still work in the same thing for sure... but maybe I would like to study more about anthropology.

Yes, I would have forgone commercial art and gone into fashion design. I can't take the stress and criticism of the commercial art field, so I never did anything after I earned my associate. Later, I found I liked fashion design greatly but the field is flooded now.

My undergrad and grad degrees were in Audiology. I practiced in that field for 10 years, working the a variety of ENT's

For the last ten years, I have worked as an assistant in an elementary school library, making probably 1/4th of what I could be making if I was still in Audiology.

So, would I do it differently? Yes. If I knew then how much I enjoy working with children, then I would have gone into teaching or library science.

I decided to be a lawyer in high school, so I did the traditional "I don't know what I want to major in but I want to be an attorney, so I'll major in Poli Sci - PreLaw." About 80% of the Poli Sci majors at my university were PreLaw. My "subspecialty" was international relations. I haven't even come close to an international question in 13+ years of practicing law.

After law school, I went to work for a small town law firm where they pushed me in the direction of doing municipal work. I discovered a great talent for understanding zoning and subdivision law, which is one of the more complex fields of law there is - because zoning law is politically motivated most of the time, not legal. If I could go back to high school, I would have sought to major in Urban and Regional Planning rather than Poli Sci. And I would probably have gone on for a joint JD/MURP instead of just the JD.

I took a drafting class in high school, first semester doing mechanical drawing and second semester architectural drawing. I often would doodle subdivisions during my free time. I did not want to be an architect, as law school was my goal, and civil engineering seemed like too much math & science to go to law school. But if I knew what Planning was, I would probably have majored in it back then.

Nope. I still would've majored in Ecology and gone to grad school for my masters in Wildlife Biology.
