Put a voltmeter across the battery w/engine running, if reading 12.8 to 13.4V then chase the wiring/fuses. A Haynes or Clymer manual will help. If voltage is low you either have a dud alternator or loose belt.

I don't know crap about cars, but it might be the sensor that turns the light on. The sensor that is saying there's a problem with the battery.
