Rabbits survived as long as they have by running away from danger. They are the prey not the predator. You would have better luck with a cat.
Rabbits can kick with their back legs when they are picked up and also bite, but a stranger would not pick them up if they are after you money.
Even a small dog would give up its life for you, but a rabbit would run away.
If someone is threatening you, try talking to your parents. Being the adults, they can protect you a lot better then a small animal.

if your rabbit isnt already aggressive then no....only if theyre naturally aggressive like my older rabbit Monique. a few years ago man she bit me so hard that im pretty sure it produced some blood. now she would be a pretty good fighter. even then idk...the attacker could smack the rabbit back or maybe even step on them. no id say its too dangerous for the rabbit but you might be able to get away while the rabbit is stalling for you.
i remember when my moms bf was holding and putting my rabbit Rosie near this cat in the yard playing w/her claws going rawr rawr. the cat was so scared and ran away so yeah the only way it would work is if you put the rabbit up to them and then somehow make them bite. when theyre loose its not safe.

A rabbit can bite, sure...but they're not attack animals and wouldn't do much damage. Probably wouldn't even bite through the attacker's clothes. I don't think a rabbit could be trained to prtect you. They are not naturally aggressive animals...and not very intimidating ones either.

Never heard of a rabbit doing anything like that on command. I think its because rabbits are herbivores so they don't have the aggressive nature of carnivores such as dogs and cats. Not that dogs and cats are aggressive in a mean way I mean the hunting instincts.

What kind of question is this?
Rabbits can be pretty aggressive, and I won't say it's impossible to train them, just irresponsible - if someone wanted to get you, they'd just give your rabbit a good kick and that would be that.

I guess you could, since you could teach any other anmal that.
But... why would you want to?
First of all, rabbits aren't the toughest of animal, they will not be much good.
And second, it isn't being a very good pet owner to teach your animal such a rude, crude, and uncultured task.
Yet, I still think you could.

I doubt it. They don't seem to have the mental capacity to be molded from a personality standpoint. I found it difficult for them to show much emotion beyond fear and curiosity....getting them to know their name would be a feat.
