Whoever performs better in Training Camp and preseason because both of these running backs have experience in zone blocking schemes, its just a matter of who performs better. Personally i think Morency might edge out Jackson because he's worked with the offense last year, has decent hands and looks like he can pass protect. But regardless both will most likely spell the other every now and then with so many teams, including the Packers, emplying a two-back system.

It is currently Vernand Morency but the momentum seems to be leaning towards Brandon Jackson.

Morency has added 10 extra pounds of muscle but they really like Jackson. Morency got to practice more with the team due to Jackson attending a rookie event last month and suffering a knee injury during this month's organized team activities.

I have a feeling they will go with a running back by committee until 1 has shown that they deserve the job.

Morency will be the starter on opening day. Beach Pope and Jackson will all be in the mix, and I think they will all get playing time. Say good bye to Noah Herron, he has a lot of heart but not enough physical attributes to stick around any longer. Go Pack Go~!

Brandon Jackson is larger ideal for the zone-blockading scheme. Wynn could desire to be an H-returned. i think of Morency would be the beginning runningback except Mike McCarthy makes use of a a million-2 punch with Morency and Jackson like Dallas.

i think mccarthy will use a dual rb threat. however, he will use morency slightly more than jackson due to a little more experience with his system.
