i just bought a laptop yesterday and i charged it completely but in about 1.5 to 2 hours it was only 25% charged is there something wrong with the battery? i have a toshiba A205 s4577
how long can you a laptop if the battery is fully charged?

It depends on what you do on your computer. If you do things like watch movies, surf the Internet a lot, and play games, that can drain the battery quickly. My battery lasts for about an hour and a half. It's not the battery; it's what I'm doing on the computer.

most batteries will last about 2-3 hours all depends on what your doing with it and is it powering any external devices

Thats about the norm. My new HP is exactly the same, but it only takes a few minutes to recharge back to 100%.

It depends on the type of laptop if it is a gateway yes. I'm not sure about any others.
