you can either tighten them more(but that does get uncomfortable i know because im a distance swimmer and if their to tight my eyes feel like there gonna explode), you could swim with out, you could put them under your cap, or you could try bungee straps(you can get them at Swim outlet. com, and Nor cal and other swim places) they are better then the normal straps becuase you can get them tighter and they dont break...try all these things to figure out which works.

Most of the time when this happens it is not because your goggles are not tight enough, but that you are wearing the strap incorrectly down at the base of your head closer to the neck.
When putting on your goggles make sure the strap comes across or just above the crown of your head (usually their is bump on the back of your head where your skull came together, that is the crown).
If you have the strap too far down on your head it helps to pull the goggles downward so when you dive in, the force of the water hitting them finishes the job. When the strap is at the top of your head it can resist that force.
Don't tuck your chin, that is not proper mechanics and bad advice. Just make sure your goggles fit properly and the strap is in the right place.

- Make sure your goggles are fit properly for your face.
- Keep your chicn tucked on entry
- Tighten your streamline. A tight streamline will find your biceps pressed to your head and this may help stabilize your goggles.
You may need different goggles, not all goggles fit all faces. Try a different pair and see if you notice a difference. Also, everyone suggested different straps, you can tyr those things too. However, most likely case is that you are not tucking your chin tight enough.
Good luck!

there are several ways that you can prevent this from happening:
- tighten your goggle straps
- make sure that your goggles fit you eye. (when you purchase goggles, make sure you try them on first. press the goggle to your eye & if it stays on for about 2 seconds, then it fits!)
- put your goggles on then put your swim cap on top
- pull the front part of your cap just over the top of your goggles (make sure you arent covering the lens)

You're diving too deep.
When you leave the block, keep your head up and your eyes at the end of the pool. Instinct and practice will tell you when to drop your head.

You may need to tighten your googles. It might also be that you are lifting you head up in the starts. Just keep your chin tucked in and make sure you keep your arms in tight in the streamline. You can also put your googles on before your cap and that will help hold the on.

you've probably tried this but tighten your goggles. they should be tighter than you wear them at practice. Push out if you're going straight down, do a tight streamline, and tuck your chin.

also angle your head towards your chest.
"chin to chest" helps keep your goggles on and make sure they are on tight enough.
but not so tight you get a headache
